They just can’t let it go. Over the years, there have been very few true dream matches in wrestling. These things have become fewer and further between with so many matches taking place every week on Monday Night Raw or SmackDown Live, plus pay per views. However, there is one match that fans have wanted to see for a very long time and WWE is still teasing things.
On Friday, WWE posted an image of Undertaker and Sting in the ring together, seemingly teasing a future match between the two of them. At the moment, there is no word on a potential match between Sting and Undertaker, though such a match has been teased for years. Sting announced his retirement from wrestling due to age and injuries in 2016 after wrestling a handful of matches for WWE.

WWE really has talked about this for years. Check out WWE looking at the video years ago:
Opinion: This match has been hinted and suggested and teased forever and I just can’t imagine it actually happening. Both Undertaker and Sting are over fifty and do you really want to see them out there embarrassing themselves? Consider how bad the Goldberg vs. Undertaker match was just last month. Yes there was an injury, but how likely is that to happen again on a bigger stage given the circumstances?
