They just keep piling up. It’s been a rough week for WWE in the injury department. It seems that they can’t go a day or two without someone else coming up injured, though some of them haven’t been as serious as others. Some people aren’t so lucky with injuries that are a bit more severe. That’s the case with the latest person to be bitten by the injury bug and in this case, it’s confirmed.

Via his Twitter account, Big E has announced that he has suffered a torn meniscus during a six man tag on SmackDown Live. The injury seemed to occur via a crossbody spot during the match. WWE has also confirmed the injury, saying that Big E is not currently cleared to perform and confirming the nature of his injury. There is no word on when Big E will be returning to the ring.

Down goes the Big man. Check out the match where the injury took place:

The New Day vs. Drew McIntyre & The Bar: SmackDown LIVE, April 9, 2019

Opinion: Egads man. These injuries are popping up every few hours it seems and I’m not sure how many more WWE can handle. A torn meniscus could put him on the shelf for a fair amount of time, though in New Day’s case, the rest of the team is right there to make it up. I’m not sure what this is going to mean for Xavier Woods, but I’m sure he’ll be right there with Kofi Kingston most of the time.

How bad is this for New Day? What should Big E do when he gets back? Let us know in the comments below.
