Raw Superstar Being Advertised As “Honorary Shield Member”

They say that three is a crowd, but in some cases, that is a good thing. A promotional poster for a WWE Raw taping in Austin, Texas on Monday, June 3, 2019 is advertising that Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins will be gaining an “Honorary Shield Member.”

Braun Strowman is being advertised to team with Reigns and Rollins to take on the team of Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin and Bobby Lashley.

Strowman recently made an surprise appearance on Smackdown Live, in order to prepare for the 2019 Superstar Shakeup. You can see a clip of that below:

As with all WWE advertised events, the card is subject to change, and it is known where superstars will end up after next week’s Superstar Shakeup.

Editor’s Opinion:

This is probably just being used as a promotional event, as the pre-sale is happening on Friday of this week. However, I’d be OK with Strowman teaming with Rollins and Reigns as a part of The Shield; it would be a fun way to end the evening!
