That’s a big one. With AEW going from a concept to an actual company this year, the big question has been about their television deal. It’s one of the most important things to have in a wrestling company because without a place to show the shows, you don’t have much of an audience. Fans have been wondering where the shows would air, and now we have a pretty big hint.

According to the Fight Oracle, Warner Media Group, meaning the TNT and TBS Networks, will be presenting AEW Wrestling for their upfronts in May. This is where advertisers are presented with the future programming on the networks. Therefore, it seems very likely that one of those networks will be airing AEW programming later this year. The show is rumored to debut the same week as SmackDown Live moving to FOX, which would put it on air in early October.

The company has been talking. Check out a recent episode of Being The Elite dealing with AAA:

Opinion: Wow. We’ve been hearing about the networks that might be airing AEW but this is about as good as it could have gone. TBS is available to about the same number of homes in America as the USA Network, meaning that they’ll be on nearly even footing with Monday Night Raw to start things off. Now we need to see how big of an audience the company has, or more importantly how big that audience can grow.

How big of a deal is this for AEW? Will they be able to compete with Monday Night Raw? Let us know in the comments below.
