Hopefully it isn’t that bad. There are all kinds of injuries that can take place in wrestling because it is such a physical sport. It could be anything from a hamstring to an elbow to a head injury, but one of the scariest possible is a neck injury. They can be terrifying at first and then get even worse as you never know how long term the effects can be. Several legends have been taken down by neck injuries so it is a scary sight to see someone have their neck banged up, even if they bounce back in a hurry.
According to Wrestlinginc.com, Roman Reigns seemed to have been injured in the main event of live event in Sydney, Australia. Reigns was teaming with Daniel Bryan in a cage match against Erick Rowan and Luke Harper when Reigns crashed hard between the ropes and the cage, seeming to injure his neck in the process. While Reigns finished the match, he called a medic over and asked for some help on the way to the back. There is no word on if Reigns will be missing any time as the injury may not be severe.
Reigns might have a comeback to make. Check out one of his more recent big matches:
Opinion: This doesn’t sound great but if it is something that comes and goes in a hurry, it might not be that bad. Maybe Reigns just had a stinger or something close to it and if that’s the case, it isn’t the worst thing. It is however something that needs to be monitored as a neck isn’t something you want to mess around with either in the short or long term. Reigns is someone who is going to be one of the biggest stars in WWE for as long as he wants to be and WWE knows that they need to take care of him. That means his neck will be checked over and over again, which is a good thing for everyone involved.
