It might be worse than it seems. Despite the insanity that was the ending of last week’s Hell In A Cell pay per view, there are a lot of issues that can come out of the show’s namesake match. The match is as dangerous as it gets in WWE and that can cause more problems than you might be able to see just as the show is going on. Sometimes there are longer term issues caused by the match in the form of an injury, and that may be the case with a pretty big name.
WWE had previously announced that Sasha Banks will face Becky Lynch on this week’s Monday Night Raw for the right to have their brand make the first selection on the second night of the WWE Draft. However, digital cable previews for the show are now advertising Lynch vs. Charlotte instead of Banks for the right to choose. This could suggest that Banks is still injured and may have to be pulled out of the match. Banks did not wrestle as advertised on Saturday’s house show in Odessa, Texas. She is still listed as facing Lynch on WWE.com.
This is what you were supposed to get. Check out Lynch vs. Banks from Clash Of Champions:
Opinion: Banks is one of the more interesting wrestlers today as she is always in the news for one thing or another. As talented as she is though, it seems that she is injured almost all the time. If that isn’t what is keeping her out of the ring, it is due to her backstage issues. Yes she is a talented performer, but there comes a point where she has to be able to stay in the ring and that does not seem to be the case at the moment. If she is already injured again so soon after her comeback, how long will it be before she is out of action long term again? If she isn’t already?
