Welcome back! There have been all kinds of names to come through WWE throughout the years but only a handful of them make a lasting impact. Those are the names who are going to become bigger deals than almost anyone else for one reason or another. You will often see those names return for major events, and that is going to be the case again with one legendary name.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: It Works: One Superstar Credited With NXT Spring Breakin Audience Boost (And It Might Surprise You)

According to PWInsider Elite, WWE Hall Of Famer Teddy Long is scheduled to be at this week’s SmackDown and next week’s Monday Night Raw for the WWE Draft. There is no word on what Long is expected to do at either show or if this will be part of a regular return to WWE. Long served as an on-screen authority figure for both shows on and off over the years and still makes occasional appearances.

I’d say he’s been around. Check out Long’s time in WWE:

Opinion: This is one of those safe returns that can provide some chuckles for everyone involved. Long is beloved in WWE and has been around for so long that it would be great to have him back for one more appearance like this. If nothing else, he can pop the crowd by showing up and will probably be part of some kind of a joke. I’m not sure he is going be back full time, but for a two off cameo, why not?

What do you think of Long returning? How should he be used? Let us know in the comments below.
