Keep the big one around. WWE is suddenly no longer the only big time company in the American wrestling scene. Due to the rise of AEW with its billionaire backers, there is now another company that can offer up some serious money to the talents. That has created a different wrestling world for the first time in a long time, though WWE has managed to keep one of its big stars in the fold.

According to Prowrestlingsheet.com, Roman Reigns has re-signed with the company on a new multi-year deal. While the exact length of the contract is not known, Reigns will be sticking with the company for the foreseeable future. It isn’t clear when his old deal was going to expire, though there was never any indication that Reigns was considering leaving at any point.

It’s a good thing they kept him around. Check out Reigns’ rather awesome match from this week’s SmackDown Live:

Opinion: This is about as obvious of a move as you could get as neither side would have any reason to consider leaving. Reigns may not have been the success that WWE wanted him to be but he was far from an abysmal failure. He is still the top star WWE has and there is no reason for them to even think about letting him go anywhere. Couple that with Reigns being part of one of the most important families in history and all of the success he has had in WWE and this is no surprise at all.

What is next for Reigns in WWE? When will he be World Champion again? Let us know in the comments below.
