Ambrose won’t be alone either as his guest will be the newest official signee to the blue show’s roster: James Ellsworth. It’s been a big week for Ellsworth, who recently defeated Styles in a ladder match to earn both his contract and a future shot at the title. This was Ellsworth’s third win over Styles in a few months as he’s already pinned the champ and defeated him by disqualification.
While this hasn’t been the strongest build towards a pay per view due to a lack of time (two weeks between “Survivor Series 2016” and “Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2016”), I can give “Smackdown Live” the benefit of the doubt. I know a talk show segment isn’t the most interesting thing in the world but neither is pushing someone like Ellsworth but that’s gone well enough.
What do you think of Ellsworth? Does Ambrose get the title back on Sunday? Let us know in the comments below.
