An unintended side effect. Just in case all of the current moves around the wrestling world aren’t enough, we are also less than a month away from the next WWE Draft when everything will change again. This time around things might stick a little bit longer due to the FOX contract, but that remains to be seen. What doesn’t remain to be seen though is how things are going at the moment, and it turns out that it’s kind of a problem.
According to Tom Colohue of Sportskeeda.com, the Draft is causing a lot of chaos backstage in WWE as it isn’t clear where things are going. The creative teams are having problems setting things up for the future as there are only so many long term moves that can be made with the Draft looming. At the same time, the stories that already exist are needing various scripts written, just in case things are changed in a hurry. The Draft is taking place over two nights on October 11 and October 14.
This could cause some changes. Check out what they might be going through:
Opinion: I can see how this could be a major issue as there is only so much that can be done with less than a month to go before everything changes (again). That happens quite a bit around here and it must be frustrating on creative, as well as on the talent. Everything seems like it is being done on the fly and then in short term only which is hardly a great way to go about doing things.
