The New Kind Of Promo. Charlotte Comes To Andrade’s Defense In A Weird Discussion.

Sometimes they don’t get along. Wrestlers can have some massive egos, which can kind of be required to get by in the business. That can be both a good thing or a bad thing depending on the situation, as a big ego can get you to a higher level but it can also cause some problems. In this case, it just seemed to case some drama, which doesn’t seem like the best thing.

On Monday, Rey Mysterio became the new #1 contender to the Universal Title so Kalisto sent him a congratulating Tweet. Andrade responded to the Tweet, asking if Kalisto still worked for WWE. Kalisto said that Andrade only stayed with the company because of his relationship with Charlotte, who got in on things as well by saying Andrade was pretty, unlike Kalisto who has to wear a mask. There is no word on any heat between Kalisto and Andrade so there is a strong chance that this is just Andrade staying in character.

Opinion: This is one of those arguments that would only take place in the Twitter generation. It’s not like this is going to lead anywhere and it’s not like it means anything, though having Charlotte call Andrade “pretty” is something I could have lived without. I like both guys and Charlotte is of course awesome so I’m not sure what the point of this was other than killing time.
