That would be a big get. Earlier this month, Brock Lesnar lost the Universal Title to Roman Reigns, ending his 504 day reign as champion. The loss was Lesnar’s last scheduled appearance with WWE for the time being, which meant that Paul Heyman might be in trouble. He doesn’t have any other clients at the moment, and that means he has no reason to be on TV. That might be changing in the near future.
According to Barnburner’s Fired Up podcast by way of Sportskeeda.com, Kevin Owens, who quit on Monday Night Raw earlier this week, may be brought back as the newest Heyman Guy. There is no word on when this will be taking place as Owens’ storyline has just begun. At the moment, he has been moved to the alumni section of WWE.com. Heyman’s last client other than Lesnar was Cesaro in 2014.
It was a sad moment on Monday.
Opinion: It’s not the worst idea in the world, though usually you have Heyman paired with someone who can’t talk, and that’s certainly not the case with Owens. To be fair though, CM Punk and Heyman had quite the partnership and Punk didn’t need any help talking either. This is an intriguing idea and while I’d wait to actually see it happen, it would make quite the pairing.
