When The Rock Is Willing To Face Roman Reigns

So it’s possible. In the history of wrestling, no one has ever gone on to become a bigger celebrity than the Rock. After a relatively short wrestling career, Rock has gone on to become the biggest star in Hollywood and one of the biggest celebrities in the world. At the same time, Rock still comes back to have something to do with wrestling and now we have hope that he could get back in the ring.

One of the biggest wrestling stories in recent months has been the rise of Roman Reigns as the top villain in WWE. Reigns has embraced his villainous side and has spent months talking about how he is the head of the family. That would be the Anoa’i family, which has several of the most memorable names in modern wrestling history. That includes the Rock, and now we might have a chance at a dream match.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, the Rock has discussed facing Reigns at some point in 2022. There is no word on when in 2022 the match would take place. There are several factors that would have to be considered as well, including the Rock’s age, health and movie schedule. WWE had been hoping to run the Rock vs. Reigns at WrestleMania 37, but there was no guarantee the match would take place.

Opinion: At the end of the day, as much as I’m sure the Rock and WWE would love to see the match take place, I’m not sure I can actually imagine it happening given the Rock’s schedule. He has one of the busiest film schedules in the world and while he could help his family in the process, I’m not sure if I can see the match taking place. I’d love to see it, but it might be a little too difficult to pull off.
