It’s a unique way to go. The Coronavirus pandemic has changed the way the wrestling world works and it could be a rather long time before things get back to the way they were before. That is the kind of thing that is going to make the wrestling companies change all kinds of things, but now one major company might be having to make another change for a completely unique reason.

AEW has done some great things in their short history and it has been fascinating to see their rise over the last year and a half. One of the biggest reasons is due to their incredibly deep roster. They have a nice mixture of legends, up and coming stars and newcomers, all of whom have done well in AEW so far. One of the older up and comers might not be around next year though.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the Butcher may be taking time off from AEW next summer as his band, Every Time I Die, is planning a tour in 2021. Butcher has been part of the band since 1998 and has only been in the wrestling business for four years, starting when he was thirty nine years old. There is no guarantee that the tour will be happening due to Coronavirus concerns.

His team is pretty good. Check out what Butcher and Blade can do in the ring:

Opinion: Well that isn’t the kind of thing that you hear about very often. If nothing else, it is pretty amazing to hear about someone getting involved in wrestling at thirty nine years old and managing to get this far. That is not something that many people are ever going to be able to say and while Butcher might not be the top star in the promotion, he is certainly doing something impressive all things considered.

What do you think of Butcher? What happens to Blade if Butcher takes his hiatus? Let us know in the comments below.
