Acts of kindness. Wrestlers are an interesting case as while they are playing characters that are both heroes and villains (or occasionally both), they are still celebrities and people that fans watch on television every week. That moves them into a higher level in some fans’ lives and allows them to do things that a lot of people couldn’t do. Sometimes, the wrestlers get to do some rather cool things as a result.

During the previous week, news broke of a nine year old Australian boy named Quaden Bayles who had been severely bullied due to his dwarfism. In a video posted to Facebook, Bayles can be heard asking for a knife so he can kill himself. As a result, comedian Brad Williams, who also has dwarfism, has launched a Go Fund Me page to held send Bayles to Disneyland. Various celebrities have gotten involved as well, including some wrestling personalities.

Since the video launched, several wrestlers have joined the cause while also attempting to get Bayles to WrestleMania 36 on April 5. They have also offered to pay for his flights as well as various gifts for him while he would be on his trip. In addition, Hornswoggle, who also has dwarfism, posted a video offering advice to Bayles, saying that he should try not to let the bullying get to him because that is what the bullies want. The Disneyland Go Fund Me page has already exceeded its goal but is ongoing.

The Go Fund Me page can be found right here.

Here are some of the wrestlers’ responses. Check out their thoughts, plus Hornswoggle’s video:

Opinion: This is something that is rather awesome when you think about it. Bayles is someone who has had to go through some rather horrible treatment and now he’s getting rewarded for dealing with it. At the end of the day, no one should have go to through something like this but some people are going to have to. He didn’t do anything wrong and it is nice to see him getting something kind like this after what he has had to go through.
