Well of course he did. Ric Flair is one of the all time legends of professional wrestling and it isn’t just due to what he does in the ring. Flair may be one of the greatest performers between the ropes, but he is second to none when it comes to legendary exploits outside of the ring. There are all kinds of stories about Flair doing things that no one else could get away with and now we have a new entry.
Flair has been around as close to forever as you can get in wrestling and some of the legendary stories about him are almost hard to believe. Whether it is the amount of drinking and partying that he did or his time with various celebrities, Flair has done almost everything with everyone and the latest Flair story has a mixture of just about everything that makes a Flair tale great.
In a new interview with Metro, Flair told a story about drinking with Undertaker and former NBA player Harvey Grant. Without going into details of how it happened or if it was ever recovered, Flair said that somehow he lost a Rolex watch during the night. Flair described it as a tough night trying to keep up with Undertaker drinking Jack Daniels whiskey. Undertaker and Flair faced each other at WrestleMania 18 with Undertaker picking up the win.
The two have been at it before. Check out Undertaker vs. Flair:
Opinion: This is one of those stories that sounds so perfect for a Flair exploit that I can’t say I’m surprised. Celebrities, alcohol and something expensive. What else sums up Flair that well? It’s a little surprising that it involved Grant, who was hardly a top NBA name, though he was a professional athlete. Only Flair could make something like this work and he certainly did it again.
