People did see him. As you might have heard, John Cena hosted “Saturday Night Live” this past weekend as his mainstream entertainment push continues. It seems to have been another successful venture as, according to Deadline.com, the ratings were the highest since the post Election episode of the show from a month ago.  You can check out Cena’s highlights from the show right here.

Cena’s mainstream success seems to be a real thing as he received positive reviews for his role in “Trainwreck” and his casting in another upcoming comedy called “The Pact”. This is in addition to hosting the “American Grit” reality show which is set to air its second season. At the same time though, Cena has been limited to about ten televised WWE matches this year.

Love him or hate him, it’s clear that Cena is becoming a bigger Hollywood and TV star every single week. At almost 40 years old, Cena’s days in WWE are numbered anyway and I have no issue with him cashing in while the demand is there. He’s always going to be a part of WWE and it’s been an amazing ride for years now.
