It’s like a Family reunion. With half of the field filled out for the 2017 Royal Rumble, there are fifteen spots left. “Smackdown Live” doesn’t have a lot of names entered into the field yet but that changed in a big way this week. Near the end of the show, three more names were announced for the Royal Rumble all at once.

On this week’s show, Bray Wyatt announced that all three members of the Wyatt Family (Wyatt himself, Luke Harper and Randy Orton) would be entering the match. Wyatt has had success in the Rumble before and Orton won the 2009 edition. Harper hasn’t had a ton of success but he often gets to come in and clear house.

I like the idea of having more people announced than not for the Rumble though I’m glad they’ll leave some spots open for a few surprises. Now everyone needs to be announced in advance and it’s a good idea to have a stable like this, especially after the Wyatts were such a dominant force in the 2016 edition.
