Of course. About a year ago, Shane McMahon made his return to the WWE in a big surprise. After having a match with Undertaker at “Wrestlemania XXXII”, McMahon was named the Commissioner of “Smackdown Live”. While Daniel Bryan often does most of the heavy lifting for the leadership, McMahon often handles major announcements of his own, which is what happened this week on “Smackdown Live”.

McMahon opened the show and announced that in four weeks at “Elimination Chamber 2017”, the WWE World Champion will defend the title inside the show’s namesake match. The current champion is AJ Styles but he has a title defense against John Cena at “Royal Rumble 2017”. This could tie in to the rumored McMahon vs. Styles match rumored for “Wrestlemania XXXIII”.

I’m split on this one. The idea of the Elimination Chamber coming back is cool but PLEASE don’t make us sit through McMahon vs. Styles at “Wrestlemania XXXIII”. Styles has had one of the best debut years in WWE history and his reward is getting to babysit McMahon in a match where McMahon is likely to get all the credit? We’re so lucky.

Who do you see inside the Chamber with the champion? Do you want to see Styles vs. McMahon? Let us know in the comments below.
