At least it didn’t last long. You never know when you might have some kind of an injury that takes the wrestlers out of the ring. Some of them are going to be a lot worse than others but one of the bigger problems and worries about an injury is how long the wrestler is going to be out. It could be anywhere from a day to forever and now we know which is the case about one such wrestler.
Ricochet returned to the ring on Monday Night Raw, meaning that his recent elbow infection has been cleared up. The infection kept him out of the ring for a little over a week and made him miss last week’s Raw Reunion, where Seth Rollins took his place. Ricochet was in action this week on Monday Night Raw, winning a five man gauntlet match to earn a United States Title shot against AJ Styles at Summerslam.
See for yourself. Check out Ricochet back in the ring on Monday Night Raw:
Opinion: That’s quite the relief as Ricochet is one of the fastest rising stars in recent WWE history. That doesn’t work if he is out of the ring and off the show, so thankfully this was just a week off instead of anything that major. There is even a good chance that he could win the US Title back at Summerslam, which would probably be the biggest win of his career.
What is next for Ricochet? Will he ever be World Champion? Let us know in the comments below.
