Targets acquired. Whether you like them or not, there is no real way to argue against WWE being the biggest wrestling promotion in the world. They dominate every business area of the market in almost every part of the globe, but that doesn’t mean they’re done with their expansion. There are always more places to go after and WWE seems to have two new locations on their radar.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Triple H recently met with officials from the Japanese Stardom and Dragon Gate promotions during WWE’s trip to Japan. There is no word on any particular talents WWE is interested in. WWE is also interested in talent from Australia, with many of their recent signings coming from there. At the moment, there is no indication of WWE starting an NXT promotion in either country.

WWE certainly has some roads into Japan. Check out Shinsuke Nakamura’s homecoming:

Opinion: This is where WWE is going to be able to win a long term war. They have more money than they know what to do with and enough satellite promotions to keep a lot of talent busy. While that can do a lot of good things for WWE, it also keeps the talent away from any potential competition the company might have. Throw in the possibility of an NXT promotion in those countries and it’s easy to see why this is a good idea for WWE.

Which of these countries is a better prospect? Where else can they go? Let us know in the comments below.
