They can happen to anyone. Wrestling is like any other sport in that it can be rather dangerous. With so much contact and physicality, someone is going to get hurt at some point and it isn’t going to end well. The big question after that is how long will someone be out of action, which is often the scary part. We now might know how long a former champion will be out and it has already been a long time.

There are a lot of entertaining wrestlers in WWE at the moment and a lot of them have won their share of titles. Sometimes you might forget this to be the case as a lot of time has passed, but the titles still look great on their resumes. That makes it feel like a bigger deal when they come back from an injury as they can be identified by their former titles. That may be the case again with an injured star.

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Kalisto is currently out of action with a separated shoulder. The injury seems to have taken place at a live event on December 30 in Los Angeles during a tag match against the Revival. At the moment, Kalisto is not expected to need surgery to repair the injury and there is no word on how long he will be out of action. AJ Styles is currently on the shelf with a similar injury.

In case you forgot. Check out what a healthy Kalisto can do:

Opinion: That’s quite the bad news and the fact that it has already been over a month with no timetable for his return is not a great sign. Kalisto is a former United States and Cruiserweight Champion so he certainly has a resume to run on. Hopefully he gets to come back sooner rather than later because he and the rest of Lucha House Party can be valuable to any roster.

How far could Kalisto go in WWE? Which member of the Lucha House Party is the most valuable? Let us know in the comments below.
