That’s where it could have gone. Earlier this month, WWE released a large group of wrestlers, shaking up the roster more than at any time in a long while. With so many names being let go at once, one of the biggest questions is what was next for so many of these people. But there is also another question: what was going to be for a lot of them if they hadn’t been let go? We know what that would be for one of them.
One of the names who didn’t survive the releases was Sarah Logan, who had been seeing some more prominent action just before she was released. While she was never a top star, she was starting to get better week by week and that is something you can always use. It turns out that WWE had another use for her in mind and it could have been something interesting.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there was a segment planned for this week’s Monday Night Raw that would have seen Logan join forces with the Viking Raiders. The segment was cut but there is a chance that it could still air in the future. However, even if it does take place, there is no guarantee that Logan will be staying with the company in the long term future. Logan is married to Erik of the Viking Raiders.
The team did something a little different on the show. Check out what they did instead:
Opinion: I could go for the trio being together on television as it would be more for Logan than just someone who just pops up every now and then. Sometimes the solution is to give a wrestler a gimmick of some kind and this might have been the big solution. Instead, she’s just gone with no warning and no real chance to ever become a star on her own. It’s a shame, and hopefully WWE changes their mind on such a natural fit.
Do you like the idea of Logan with the team? Will she be brought back? Let us know in the comments below.
