Keep the legends growing. We are less than three weeks away from SmackDown Live moving over to FOX and that means a special show. In this case, it not only means the big special show but also the 20th anniversary of SmackDown. That means that we are going to be seeing a lot of names from years past and now we know who the next big name is going to be.
On her Twitter account, Trish Stratus has revealed that she will be taking part in the October 4 SmackDown Live show in Los Angeles. There is no word on what she or any of the other legends will be doing, but they may just be there for an appearance. Stratus last appeared at Summerslam, where she faced Charlotte in a battle of the generations. Stratus has since announcers her permanent retirement from wrestling.
Excited to be a part of #Smackdown to help usher in a new era on @FOXTV! https://t.co/FMf2trRgBz @WWE

She still has it. Check out Charlotte vs. Stratus at Summerslam:
Opinion: This makes as much sense as anyone else. Stratus is certainly a legend and one of the biggest names in the history of the women’s division so having her around could bring in a few more eyes. That’s exactly the point of something like this so hopefully the show is a major success. If it isn’t, I’m not sure what WWE is supposed to do next as this is their biggest chance in years.
What do you think of Stratus appearing on the show? What do you expect her to do? Let us know in the comments below.
