O…..K Then. Here’s The VERY Interesting Reason Vince McMahon Wants To Push Baron Corbin (This Is Different).

That’s a new one. Over the last few months, WWE fans have not reacted well to Baron Corbin’s major push. He has not been the most well received main event star to put it mildly, yet WWE continues to push him at that level. Corbin is a main event star whether WWE fans like it or not, but it turns out there is a rather unique reason behind the push he has been getting.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Vince McMahon is pushing Corbin because he thinks Corbin is handsome. McMahon sees Corbin as the kind of wrestler that female fans “swoon” over and is pushing him as a result of the potential reaction that he could receive. Corbin is currently scheduled to team with Lacey Evans against Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch at Extreme Rules in a Winners Take All match.

Opinion: I’m not exactly the target demographic for this but based on how the attendance and television numbers have gone with Corbin on top of the card, this theory may not have the strongest legs. I can imagine that McMahon believes in such a theory, but that does not mean that it actually works. Maybe I’m just not the person to ask, but this sounds downright bonkers.
