You need someone fresh. The wrestling world has been turned upside down by the Coronavirus but at the same time there needs to be something fresh done for the sake of keeping things moving. This is where NXT comes in, as it can serve as a starting point for someone making their debuts on WWE television. That will be the case next week with someone who shows some potential.

While NXT has been the starting point for WWE for a long time now, there is now another place for some wrestlers to come into the company, at least in a certain part of the world. That would be NXT UK, which has now become a new place for several wrestlers who are just getting into WWE. As of next week, NXT UK will be offering a new talent, at least for one week.

During this week’s NXT, it was announced that NXT UK wrestler Ridge Holland will be returning to NXT on the August 5 show. Holland will be wrestling in a triple threat match against Damian Priest and Oney Lorcan in a qualifying match for the NXT Takeover: XXX ladder match for the vacant North American Title. Holland made his NXT debut in July 2018 and has wrestled a handful of matches on NXT under the name Luke Menzies. He has been part of NXT UK November 2019.

NXT thinks something of him. Check out their announcement of his return and some of his time in the ring:

Opinion: Sure why not. Holland is a big, strong man and someone who could be a good choice to do something on NXT. He can go out there and throw people around, which is something that he can do rather well. This is what NXT does, as they pull in as many names as they can and throw them out there to see what they can do. You have to start somewhere and NXT tends to make it work well.

What do you think of Holland? How will he do in NXT? Let us know in the comments below.
