The hits just keep on going. It has been a rough stretch of months for the wrestling world and there is no indication that things are going to be getting any better anytime soon. That makes for some scary times for both the fans and the wrestlers themselves, as a lot of them are not sure what is going to be happening on a day to day basis. Couple that with the SpeakOut movement and a lot of things are changing in a hurry. Now another person is making a move.
Back in October 2019, the National Wrestling Alliance began running a weekly television show called Powerrr. The show was as low budget as you could get for any kind of a presentable television show but it was quite a nice success, with a presentation that resembled the old studio wrestling shows. There were some interesting characters on the show, but one of them won’t be back if or when the show comes back.
According to Fightful.com, NWA TV Champion Zicky Dice has been granted his release from the company. This comes after the promotion sent out an email saying that they did not want anyone involved who did not believe in the company’s vision. There is no word on what this will mean for the status of the title. This comes after NWA Vice President Dave Lagana left the company due to SpeakOut allegations, as well as former TV Champion debuting for AEW last week. It is not clear when the NWA will run another event, with their most recent regular episode of Powerrr airing on March 3.
It was nice while it lasted. Check out some of Dice’s time in the ring:

Opinion: It really isn’t looking good for the NWA at the moment as the promotion seems to be slipping more and more every single week. That is a sad thing to see as Powerrr was a very fun series while it lasted. I’m not sure if the promotion will be back, but the NWA has survived a lot of things over the years. Then again, they haven’t exactly been run in this way before either so it’s kind of all over the place at the moment.
What will the loss of Dice mean? Where will he wind up? Let us know in the comments below.
