It is one way they could go. There are a lot of things going on in WWE at the moment and not all of them are as popular as others. Some of these issues can come from the fans not being pleased with the creative direction the company is taking and that can lead to bigger problems if they are not corrected. At the end of the day, there are wrestlers that the fans want to cheer and some that they don’t want to cheer, which can be a problem if WWE gets it backwards. That can be fixed, but it doesn’t seem to be the case at the moment.
At the end of this week’s Monday Night Raw, Seth Rollins invaded Bray Wyatt’s Firefly Fun House and literally burned it down by setting it on fire. The fans booed Rollins during part of the segment while cheering for Wyatt. However, according to Wrestling Observer Radio, this was not meant as a double turn for Wyatt and Rollins, who will continue in their current roles for the time being. The two of them are scheduled to face off again at Crown Jewel in a Falls Count Anywhere match for Rollins’ Universal Title.
It was a hot one. Check out the closing segment and the fire:
Opinion: I’m not sure about this one as it would certainly seem that WWE isn’t moving anywhere at this point, which is not going to work well. The reaction to the main event at Hell In A Cell was as negative as you can get towards Rollins and the fans clearly prefer Wyatt. That does not necessarily mean that WWE needs to turn Wyatt face, but Rollins may be in major trouble as far as his face run goes. Hopefully WWE can figure something out, because this is not working at the moment. The reaction to the Crown Jewel match may be different, but things are not going to work well in America.
