It’s so simple. The WWE Draft has come and gone and there were a lot of moves that came with the whole event. Dozens of wrestlers were moved to one roster or the other with the moves being permanent this time. One of the details of the Draft was that some regular teams would be split up for good, whether the fans liked it or not. In one case, a popular pair was broken up and it is not clear where things are going for the two of them. However, there is a perfectly logical explanation for what happened.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Carmella, who was sent to SmackDown, and R-Truth, who was sent to Monday Night Raw, were split up because R-Truth is mostly associated with the 24/7 Title, which was a USA idea. Since Monday Night Raw is staying on USA, the title had to stay there. At the same time, Carmella is dating Corey Graves, who is on SmackDown. WWE allowed the two of them to stay on the same show, meaning Carmella and R-Truth had to be split up.

These two just work well together. Check out one of their underrated gems:

Opinion: This is something that makes sense when you consider the real world aspects, though it may not be the most thrilling news for fans. The two of them work so very well together and it is kind of saddening to see them split up. I’m sure they’ll be together on a pay per view in the future, which will be a special treat for all of the fans the two of them have. They really have become a hilarious act together but maybe splitting up for the time being is a good idea. You can only run something like that for so long and it might have been time to wrap it up as a permanent act.

Does the split make sense? What is next for both of them? Let us know in the comments below.
