Welcome back? There are some wrestling returns that get fans’ attention. Returns such as Goldberg, Brock Lesnar and the Undertaker at next month’s Saudi Arabia show get attention because they were major stars who can make a big impact as soon as they set foot back in the ring. At the same time though, there are some returns that make fans scratch their heads, which is what we might have now.
Former WWE Diva Cameron has announced that she will be returning to the ring, but said that the announced date will be coming later. Cameron originally wrestled in WWE and its developmental territories from September 2011 until March 2016, with her last match coming at a house show on March 6, 2016. There is no word on where Cameron will be wrestling during her return.
Cameron had a lot to say. Check out her return announcement:
In case you don’t remember her. Check out one of her matches with Naomi:
Opinion: Uh….good? Cameron was far from a major star and was little more than a person who was there to fill in spots in multi-woman matches. I’m not sure how much interest there is going to be in having her return to the ring but she was around on television long enough that she might be a bit of a draw. Maybe she’s gotten better, but I’m not exactly seeing the appeal here.
Will the comeback work? Will WWE bring Cameron back? Let us know in the comments below.
