You have to make a first impression. With less than two weeks to go before the 1000th episode of SmackDown Live, WWE is taking a look back at its nearly twenty year history. That makes for some interesting discussions, including a look back at some of the bigger names to have been on the show over the years. One part of that list would be people making their debuts, and that’s what WWE is looking at today.
For the first time ever.
WWE has released a new Top Ten list looking at SmackDown’s Biggest Debuts. The list is exactly what it sounds like, with ten names who have made their debut on SmackDown over the years. Several of these names are top level stars, some of whom are still around to this day. There are a few future or current Hall of Famers on the list, though some of these names didn’t stay around for very long.
Opinion: These things are rather cool to see as there’s certainly a storied history on the blue show. 2002 alone is worth its own countdown if nothing else. The #1 entry wasn’t exactly a surprise but it was nice to see some of the other names on there getting some attention. I mean, I could have gone without having the Boogeyman on there again, but the rest are mostly fine.
Which of these debuts was best? What did WWE leave off the list? Let us know in the comments below.
