How did they do? Saturday saw a major WWE event in Australia called Super Show-Down, which is mainly serving as the featured pay per view event of the month. There were several big matches up and down the card, meaning several of them were title matches. It’s always hard to say what the champions will be doing on one of these shows, so how did they do here?

There were four title matches at Super Show-Down and one of those titles changed hands. The New Day successfully defended their SmackDown Tag Team Titles against the Bar, Charlotte defeated SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch via DQ meaning the title didn’t change hands, AJ Styles made Samoa Joe submit to successfully defend the SmackDown World Title but Buddy Murphy defeated Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander to win the title. There were no Monday Night Raw titles on the line.

Here’s what the new champ had to say.

Buddy Murphy proved himself "on my stage" in Melbourne: WWE Exclusive, Oct. 6, 2018

Opinion: They didn’t have a choice but to change the Cruiserweight Title and there’s nothing wrong with that. Murphy was the hometown boy and Alexander’s time with the title was long expired. The title change made sense and was the only one that really needed to happen. At least they got the right one out of the way and while you can argue the rest of the title matches, that one didn’t have anything to debate.

Are you happy with the title change we got? Which others should have changed? Let us know in the comments below.
