Add it to the card. We are less than two weeks away from WWE Extreme Rules and the show still has a lot of work to do. While a lot of the card has been set, there has not been anything actually extreme added to the show so far. With that not being a factor, WWE is going to have to rely on the matches themselves to carry the show, which is what they tried to do again this week.
WWE.com has announced that the Usos will defend the SmackDown Tag Team Titles against the Street Profits at Extreme Rules. This comes after the Profits defeated the Usos in a title match via disqualification last week on SmackDown when Roman Reigns interfered. There has been no stipulation announced for the match so far, which has been the case with every match on the card.
There is already a story here. Check out how the match was set up plus both other entries in their series:
Opinion: This is one of those matches that makes sense and should be given the chance to shine because the wrestlers involved are that great at what they do. Above all else, their previous matches have gone rather well and it should be awesome to see them get some more time on a bigger stage. They have set things up and now it should work, assuming they don’t make things too complicated.
What do you expect from the match? Will the titles change hands? Let us know in the comments below.
