Put it on the list. We are just over two weeks away from WrestleMania Backlash and that means it is time to start getting the card together. There are only a few matches set for the show with so little time left but WWE knows how to put things together in a hurry. Some of the matches are all but set in advance and now we have another title match being added to the event.
WWE has announced a SmackDown Tag Team Title match for WrestleMania Backlash, as Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio will be challenging Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode for the championships. The Mysterios have been talking about wanting to become the first father and son team to win the titles. This will be their first two on two shot at the titles, though they have previously challenged for them in a four way match.
The two work well together. Check out some of the Mysterios’ time in the ring:
Opinion: This is the kind of story that writes itself and I could go for seeing the Mysterios winning the titles. Ziggler and Roode did not even defend the titles for the better part of three months, so it isn’t like there is anything overly special about their title reign. Hopefully we get a good match, but a title change would also make for a rather nice moment, which is something you always want to see.
Will the Mysterios win the titles? How will the match go? Let us know in the comments below.
