Bobby Lashley Offers Batista A WWE Title Shot

From one champion to another. The WWE Title has been around for the better part of sixty years now and is one of the most important championships in all of wrestling. A who’s who of wrestlers have held the title over the years and that is still the case to this day. WWE has done a nice job of protecting the title over the years and it can be interesting to see different champions interacting. That was the case recently, even if it was outside of the ring.

Current WWE Champion Bobby Lashley has posted a photo to his Instagram showing himself with former champion and WWE Hall of Famer Batista. Lashley calls Batista his friend and congratulates him on his success, as well as offering him a title shot should he return to the company. Batista, a two time WWE Champion, last wrestled at WrestleMania 35 and has since retired.

Opinion: This might not mean much, but it is pretty cool to see two stars like this together for once. Batista and Lashley were both fairly big names but they were not people who associated with each other all that much in WWE. Batista is all but guaranteed to not wrestle again, though it is kind of cool to think about a match like this actually taking place in modern times.
