How does he like them now? Bob Holly wasn’t a big fan of women’s wrestling. According to Holly in his book “The Hardcore Truth”, Holly said “I don’t care for women wrestling, especially what they do in WWE.”

Holly went on to say that fans didn’t want to see women wrestling because all they wanted to see was skin. However, things seem to have changed a bit in recent months.

In an interview on Sean Waltman’s “X-Pac 1-2-360” podcast, Holly changed his opinion quite a bit. Holly was quoted as saying:

“Women’s wrestling has evolved so much. I honestly think they can carry a show. I really do. I think they can main event a pay-per-view now. It has evolved so much and the talent has become so incredible now.”

It’s nice to see someone having an open mind. Holly isn’t the first and certainly won’t be the last person to have their mind changed by the Women’s Revolution. Comparing women’s wrestling, especially what you see in WWE today, to what was being done just a few years ago is almost unthinkable. Holly is right when he says things have changed and it’s for the better. The division is no longer about how the women look but rather how skilled they are in the ring. That’s a good thing and it’s great to see Holly’s mind changed.

Do you agree with Holly’s old views? Has your mind been changed as well? Let us know in the comments below.
