That would be a big next step. Earlier this month, CM Punk returned to WWE in one of the biggest surprises that has taken place in WWE in a long time. While Punk’s return had been talked about and hinted at for years now, it was a case where you would believe it when you saw it. Then Punk actually showed up on Backstage and fans’ heads might have exploded just a bit. It brought up a bunch of questions, with one of the biggest being what comes next. We now may know what that is.
Before we get to the rest of it, consider this. Check out a bit of a preview:
According to PWInsider.com, WWE now wants Punk to appear on a future edition of Broken Skull Sessions with Steve Austin. The interview show is similar to Austin’s podcast and his former WWE Network show, featuring Austin interviewing big wrestling names. The first episode debuted on Sunday night, featuring Austin talking to Undertaker. There is no word on when Punk would appear on Austin’s show, if that is what winds up happening.
The show went well. Check out some clips from the Undertaker edition:
Opinion: This is one of those things that the fans are going to be interested in seeing, as Punk and Austin are two of the best talkers of all time. The fans would like to see the two of them together, if nothing else after seeing what Undertaker was willing to talk about on his episode. I could certainly go for Punk appearing, as Austin could certainly ask him some hard questions.
Do you think Punk will appear on the show? Who else will be a guest? Let us know in the comments below.
