It’s finally over. This weekend saw a lot of things taking place in WWE, with a SmackDown, Takeover: WarGames, Survivor Series and Monday Night Raw, all of which had quite a bit of action. It was certainly the kind of weekend with all kinds of matches and stories taking place, but that doesn’t mean that things were done once the cameras went off. As usual, WWE had something else going on after Monday Night Raw went off the air.

This week’s Monday Night Raw dark match featured Universal Champion Bray Wyatt successfully defending his title against Drew McIntyre inside a steel cage. McIntyre came out after the show was over, hit a Claymore on Kevin Owens in the aisle, and challenged Wyatt to a fight for the title. The match, which was wrestled under Wyatt’s signature red lighting, ended when Wyatt hit four Sister Abigails and exited the cage. The lights then went out again and Wyatt appeared on the stage to end the show. This was the same dark match as last week.

It was a familiar match. Check out some clips of last week’s version of the same match:

Opinion: I’m a bit surprised that they are trying something with McIntyre, who is far from a main eventer on Monday Night Raw. The good thing is that it is a special treat for the live fans, though having Fiend show up twice in two nights might take away some of the allure. At least they got something cool to end what was a very long weekend though, and hopefully we can move on to something new for McIntyre.

What is next for McIntyre? Who will take the title off of the Fiend? Let us know in the comments below.
