Nice to see you again! We are coming up on Survivor Series and while that is usually a big deal, it has a little something special this year as a main feature. The big focal point of this year’s Survivor Series will be the Undertaker, who debuted thirty years ago to the day and will be having his Final Farewell at the event. This is not something you see every day and WWE is going out of its way to make it special, including some special guests.
There are certain names who have been associated with Undertaker over the years and some of them are a lot better known that others. You have names such as Paul Bearer, Shawn Michaels, Mick Foley and others, but then there are some names who you might not associate with him as much. Those names were a big part of Undertaker’s career, even if it might have been behind the scenes. At least one of each group may be coming back at Survivor Series.
According to PWInsider.com, WWE is bringing in both the Godfather and Kane for the celebration. The Godfather was friends with Undertaker backstage and both were part of the Bone Street Krew. Kane and Undertaker feuded and teamed together on and off for the better part of fifteen years. This comes after Savio Vega, another member of the Bone Street Krew, was announced for the show.
There is some history here. Check out both Kane and Godfather’s histories with Undertaker:
Opinion: The more I hear about this the more excited I am for it. If there is one thing that WWE does well, it is touting their own history and Undertaker is a huge part of that history. I’m not sure what to expect from the celebration, but man alive is this starting to sound like it could be a lot of fun. Undertaker has been a part of a lot of careers over the last thirty years and it is going to be cool to see so many of them in one place.
What are you expecting from the celebration? Who else should be there? Let us know in the comments below.
