I’d call it a dream match. Every now and then you get a special match which is going to get some special attention. These things are not easy to find but when a promotion gets something like this right, it can wind up being the best thing they have in a long time. We could be moving in that direction in WWE and it would be one of the biggest matches they have put on in years.
The WWE On FOX Instagram account has posted an image of John Cena from a recent interview he had with Den of Geek. In the interview, Cena said that he really wants to get back to WWE and bring the audiences back. MVP responded to the post, saying that he and Bobby Lashley eagerly awaited Cena’s return. There is no word on when or if Cena will next be appearing on WWE television.
Outside of a brief appearance in an ad for this year’s WrestleMania 37, Cena has not appeared on WWE television since WrestleMania 36, when he lost to Bray Wyatt in a Firefly Fun House match. He has not wrestled a traditional match in WWE since January 2019. Lashley challenged Cena for the WWE Championship at the 2007 Great American Bash in a losing effort.

This could be interesting. Check out both of them on their own and then against each other:
Opinion: This is the kind of match that interests me, as Cena is not going to be wrestling very often again so having him put someone over and making them a bigger star is a great idea. Lashley does not need the biggest push in the world right now, but beating or even working with Cena would help him. Throw in the idea of Cena possibly winning his seventeenth World Title, which is not out of the question, and we could be in for something special.
What do you think of the match? Will it take place? Let us know in the comments below.
