Pass on what you have learned. The idea of a second generation wrestler makes all the sense in the world. There is something very logical about having the son or daughter of a wrestler who has become a star on their own get into the same business. Over the years, there have been some very successful instances of each and we may be seeing the same thing again.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Simone Johnson, the daughter of the Rock, has been making a positive impression at the Performance Center. This includes being the most improved name in squats from January until May. In addition to this, according to Fightful Select, Johnson has been filming an unknown project with the recently re-signed Zelina Vega. There is no word on when Johnson could debut on NXT television.

Johnson signed with WWE in May 2020 and has been training at the Performance Center since. This has included some training with her father, who appeared at the Performance Center to assist her. There is no word on when Vega will be returning to either WWE or NXT television after her release from WWE last November. WWE has yet to confirm that Vega has returned to the company.

There is potential there. Check out what they can do on their own:

Opinion: I’m not sure what Johnson and Vega are going to do together, but having someone from one of the most famous wrestling families in the world could be rather interesting. Vega is someone who can make anyone else seem better, which could be a smart move if Johnson is debuting soon. This could go in a few directions and I am curious to see how that goes.

What do you think of Johnson? Could she and Vega be paired together? Let us know in the comments below.
