That’s a big number. The Bloodline has dominated WWE television over the last few years but things have not been going the team’s way in recent months. The Usos have left the Bloodline and Roman Reigns suffered his first loss in about 1,300 days earlier this month. There is still interest in the story though and that was on display earlier this week in a rather impressive way.

Last week’s SmackDown opened with the Usos putting Reigns in Tribal Court, following his loss at Money In The Bank. The segment involved the Usos and the remaining members of the Bloodline and ran for over half an hour. According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, the second quarter of the show (from 8:15-8:30) drew more than three million viewers, which is described as “higher than any wrestling quarter in recent memory”.
The 2nd quarter-hour of last Friday's Smackdown; which was the middle of the Reigns, Sikoa, Usos segment, and had no ads; averaged more than 3 million viewers and a 0.94 P18-49 demo rating (1.23M viewers 18-49).
Higher than any wrestling quarter-hour in recent memory.

It was a heck of a show. Check out what the team did that night:
Opinion: I know there has been a lot of criticism about the story and how long it has been going, but what more proof do you need that fans are interested in what they are seeing? This is the biggest storyline in wrestling at the moment and pretty much nothing is coming close to it. WWE is going to keep pushing this thing until it runs out of steam and that does not seem to be the case anytime soon.
