Wrestlers Not Allowed To Mention Sable On WWE Programming

Don’t say her name. WWE Hall of Famer Torrie Wilson recently took part in a virtual autograph signing and revealed some interesting information about her former colleague, Sable.

Wilson mentioned that prior to her Hall of Fame speech, she was told not to mention Sable. Furthermore, she added “You’re not even allowed to mention her name. I mentioned her name in my Hall of Fame speech and right before they told me, ‘Oh by the way, you’re not allowed to mention her name.'”

Wilson and Sable were in a storyline together on SmackDown in 2003 and also were on the cover of Playboy together. Sable’s run with the company ended in 2004 and has lived a private life with her husband Brock Lesnar ever since.

 

Editor’s Opinion:

This is very interesting, and I don’t understand the logic behind this. I know Sable had her issues with the company in the past, and was thought to only be employed for certain reasons, but she is married to one of the top draws in all of the company. And honestly, she never did anything wrong, or got into trouble, so I don’t see what the issue was here.
