Someone has caught his eye. AEW has quite the talent rich roster, but there are always new people to bring in. A roster needs a mixture of up and comers, current stars and established named who can be used to help bring other names up. Finding the right balance is rather tricky, but now the company’s boss has his eye on another veteran star in hopes of bringing him in.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: That One? Former WWE Star Reveals How Vince McMahon Came Up With Infamous Event

Over the weekend, a fan asked AEW President Tony Khan about getting former WWE star and current AEW coach/produer Chris Hero into the upcoming Blood & Guts match. Khan responded, saying that he’s trying and in a later tweet, said that he “chips away” at Hero every week. Khan wasn’t sure if he would get Hero to come to AEW, but he would keep trying, while also saying he enjoyed working with Hero.

He’s been around. Check out some of Hero’s time in the ring over the years:

Opinion: It makes sense for AEW to want Hero in the ring, as he is someone who can work a variety of styles while still making everything work. I could go for seeing him in a match, if nothing else just for the sake of a quick reunion with Claudio Castagnoli for some Kings Of Wrestling nostalgia. Either way, at least AEW has the right idea by having him around as a coach, as his wrestling knowledge is incredibly valuable.

Will Hero wrestle for AEW? Who else should AEW bring in? Let us know in the comments below.
