That’s a success. There have been several controversial and noteworthy moments in WWE over the course of the year but few have been as eventful as the return of CM Punk. Following a nearly ten year absence, Punk made his return at Survivor Series and is already set for his first match back with the company. It seems that there are some people who are rather interested in seeing him return to the ring.

Punk is scheduled to face Dominik Mysterio at Madison Square Garden in New York City on December 26 in his first match back in WWE. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, once the announcement was made last week, an additional 5,000 tickets were sold to the even. This is part of the 14,884 tickets out for the event. Punk last wrestled in WWE at the 2014 Royal Rumble.
Punk has certainly made an impact since he came back. Check out his recent WWE time:
Opinion: What else is there to say? Punk’s return to the ring moved about a third of the tickets to an event, which almost has to be the biggest individual attraction on the show. It makes a difference to have Punk on the show and that is the kind of thing that can be pointed to as a way to show his impact. At the same time, there is always the chance of things blowing up, but at least he is off to a good start.
