Welcome back. We are in the middle of an interesting time in WWE as all kinds of changes are taking place on a regular basis. This includes changes in the roster, with several wrestlers moving around and coming into the company. Some of them are wrestlers who have been around before, even with quite the levels of success. Now we might be seeing even more of them making a return.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Tony Khan Introduces A New Championship

According to Fightful Select, the Authors of Pain are expected to return to WWE television soon, with Paul Ellering also returning as their manager. The current plan is for the two of them to wrestle on SmackDown, but those plans could change. This comes after reports that the team had been resigned to the company earlier this year. The team last wrestled in March 2020.

The team had some success. Check out the two of them in action:

Opinion: This is an interesting idea and I’m curious to see how it might go. The team was a success while they were around and it’s not like they are a difficult concept to bring back. You can always use a pair of monsters who can beat the fire out of people whenever they’re around and that might be what we are getting again. For now, just the idea of having them back is a good thing, especially with Ellering on the main roster for a change.

What do you think of the idea? How will the team do should they return? Let us know in the comments below.
