Hopefully it helps. Wrestlers can deal with all kinds of issues that can be damaging to their health, with a variety of problems taking place throughout a wrestler’s career. Unfortunately some of these can be rather serious and impact a wrestler for the rest of their life. That was the case with a wrestling legend in recent years, but now things seem to be a lot better after some major surgery.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: It’s A Family Thing: WWE Signs 4th Generation Wrestler

During a recent edition of his Grilling JR podcast, AEW’s Jim Ross revealed that Dean Malenko, who works as an agent in AEW, has undergone brain surgery to help him deal with his Parkinson’s disease. The surgery is designed to help Malenko deal with the shaking that comes with his condition. There is no word on when Malenko had the surgery or if he is back to work yet.

Malenko had quite the career. Check out some of his time in the ring:

Opinion: That is great to hear as you never want to see someone have health issues, especially with something that serious. Malenko is a rather valuable asset to any wrestling promotion and it is awesome to have him healthy enough to be back to work, or at least on his way to being back. At the very least, just giving him a higher quality of life is a good thing and that seems to be the case here.

What do you think of Malenko? What was the best part of his career? Let us know in the comments below.
