In case you missed it the first time. It was announced on “Monday Night Raw” that Brian Kendrick would get his rematch for the Cruiserweight Title on the second episode of “205 Live”. Kendrick lost the title to Rich Swann last week on the debut episode via three straight spinning kicks to the head.

With the show still being a new series, it isn’t a surprise that the early episodes are being stacked with major matches, including ones for the title. The show will still be airing live after the “Smackdown Live” tapings while the cruiserweights will still be appearing on “Monday Night Raw”. On tonight’s show, Swann defeated former champion TJ Perkins in a non-title match.

Kendrick getting his rematch makes sense and was really the only way to go. If nothing else it can get Kendrick out of the way and clear the way for Swann’s next challenger. Tony Nese would be a good candidate for the spot as he’s an athletic enough guy to give Swann a good sweat.
