That’s terrible. Injuries are one of the worst things that can happen to any wrestler as they can be put on the shelf for a very long time. Someone could see their career turned around all at once, but occasionally an injury is something that is built up over time and has to be dealt with as well. The latter is the case this time, and unfortunately it could be a long time before we see a certain WWE star again.

Last week, former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman revealed that he had undergone neck fusion surgery in Birmingham, Alabama. Strowman said that it would take time to heal but did not say how long it would be before he could return. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, such injuries normally put a wrestler out of action for more than a year. Strowman, 39, last wrestled on May 1.
Strowman is a force when he is around. Check out his time in the WWE ring:
Opinion: That couldn’t be much worse for Strowman and it sounds like we are not going to be seeing him in the ring again for a very long time. Strowman is one of the more unique stars in WWE and it is a shame that he is going to be out of action for that long. Hopefully everything goes well and he is back in action sooner than expected, but his health is ultimately what matters most.
