It’s a fall back option. You remember Lio Rush right? He hasn’t been on WWE TV in a very long time and seems to want out of his contract rather badly. His attitude has always been an issue and WWE seems to think that it is better to let him sit at home than to bother bringing him to any shows. Rush hasn’t been sitting around though and seems to have something else going on.
Rush has released a new song called Scenic Lullaby, which can be heard at the link and downloaded at Spotify and on iTunes. This is Rush’s first song and may be the beginning of his music career, though there is no reference to an album. Rush’s last appearance in WWE came at WrestleMania 35, where Rush accompanied Bobby Lashley to the ring against Finn Balor. There is no word on when Rush’s WWE contract expires.
Rush was quite the talent. Check out one of his better matches against Cedric Alexander:
Opinion: Rush is far from the first person to not be happy with WWE, though I have no idea if this is going to be the next big thing for him. He seems interesting in making music though and if he has any kind of talent, maybe he can go somewhere with that until he can wrestle again. I’d rather he be in the ring, but that does not seem to be an option at the moment, especially in WWE.
What do you think of Rush? When will he wrestle again? Let us know in the comments below.
